Classroom Liaisons
Classroom Liaisons maintain a critical link between teachers and parents in each grade and the PTO. Each grade’s Classroom Liaison is a parent whose responsibilities are two-fold:
- To communicate to other parents in the grade about what’s going on in the PTO (including informing parents in the grade of current programs and activities, and relaying volunteer requests).
- To act as a point person for the grade, answer basic PTO-related questions, and relay any feedback, questions or needs of teachers, students and parents for the grade.
Classroom Liaisons come to monthly PTO meetings, and communicate with the teachers and parents in that grade level, either in person, or by email, on an as needed basis.
