The PCS PTO is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enriching the PCS community in the following areas:
Communications

Volunteer Opportunitites
The PCS PTO is always looking for parents and teachers to share new insight, brainstorm ideas, and of course, make things happen!
Committees & Events
Event committees…this is where the fun begins! We’re always looking for volunteers, and we welcome your help on any committee. Please contact one of our committee chairs. They would love to hear from you.
Curriculum Enrichment
One of the primary efforts of the PCS PTO is to work with teachers and the administration to develop and fund a major part of Pomfret Community School’s Enrichment programs for grades PK-8.
Community Outreach
Several times per year, our Community Outreach Events committee organizes special events and classes for the entire Pomfret community. Find out what the PTO is sponsoring in our town.
Fundraising
One of the primary ways that we achieve such a high level of support is through our fundraising initiatives. In addition to grant writing campaigns and corporate fund-raising campaigns, the PTO sponsors several school-wide fundraising drives, and several community-wide fundraising events every year.
