Our Mission

The Pomfret Community School PTO represents all parents, teachers and staff of the Pomfret Community School.  Our mission is to strengthen the PCS Community by:

  • Establishing and maintaining a working relationship between parents, school and community by empowering parents to get directly involved in their child’s school.
  • Promoting the best education possible for our children by raising funds that :
    1. Support teaching/classroom activities through funding and volunteer efforts
    2. Enable us to work with teachers and administration to sponsor enrichment activities that relate to the curriculum and broaden students’ access to a diverse range of educational programs.
  • Providing social and community-building events to foster the relationships between children, parents, school, and community.
